Academic Employee Surveys

Academics@UCSD

The Academics@UCSD survey is run by the Center for Faculty Diversity and Inclusion, a unit of the Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, the Strategic Consulting, Assessments, and Analytics (SCAA) team, and the Equity Research & Analytics team in Institutional Research and is designed to help administrative and academic leaders make data-informed decisions to support academic employees at UC San Diego. Academics@UCSD includes questions related to academic welfare; department values, culture, and effectiveness; equity, diversity and inclusion; interpersonal behaviors; reward structures; and satisfaction with UC San Diego. Academics@UCSD is administered every four years to employees with appointments in General Campus and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Post-docs and emeritus faculty are not included. Health Science Faculty Climate Survey

The Health Science Faculty Climate Survey is run by the Health Science Office of Faculty Affairs and covers specific dimensions of the faculty experience and is used to support data-informed change with a focus on increased equity. A log-in to Pulse is needed to access survey results.

Academic and Staff Customer Satisfaction

The annual Academic and Staff Customer Satisfaction Survey has been conducted on UC San Diego’s campus since 1994. It is run by the Strategic Consulting, Assessments, and Analytics (SCAA) team and is designed to help business units assess their service level and impact via customer feedback.
